Sam completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2015. Following graduation, he spent several years learning how to effectively treat headaches, neck and lower back pain through the International Spine and Pain Institute. Since moving to Boise in 2018, Sam has successfully helped many patients with chronic and acute spine pain improve their quality of life. Through this success, he has emerged as one of the top spine physical therapists in Boise.
During his work as an outpatient PT, he has gained certifications in Functional Dry Needling (FDN, EIM) and Spinal Manual Therapy (CSMT, International Spine and Pain Institute).
When he is not working, Sam likes to spend his time skiing, hiking/mountaineering, mountain biking or relaxing with his wife and pets.
Ashley completed her Doctorate of Physical therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2021. She is passionate about helping her patients reach their goals to get back to doing what they love most. She emphasizes the why behind injuries and treatment plans and educates her patients thoroughly throughout their course of rehabilitation.
During her work as an outpatient PT, she has gained certifications in Functional Dry Needling (FDN, EIM) and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation (Level 1, Level 2, Herman and Wallace Institute).
Ashley was born and raised in a small town outside of Duluth, Minnesota. In her free time, Ashley enjoys skiing, hiking with her dog, backpacking, camping, paddle boarding and spending time with close friends and family.
Allison is a passionate physical therapist with special interest in sports rehabilitation, dedicated to helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch, she provides personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Her approach combines evidence-based practices with a focus on returning clients to their favorite activities.
Outside of work Allison competes in Ironman triathlons, enjoys camping in the mountains and hiking to alpine lakes.
Abi graduated from Boise State University in 2023 with a degree in Kinesiology. Following her graduation, she joined Ascend as the clinic coordinator. Committed to the long-term growth and success of Ascend, Abi is instrumental in managing behind-the-scenes operations. She is the welcoming presence at our front desk, often the first point of contact for our clients, providing assistance and answering any inquiries with professionalism and care.
Outside of her professional role, Abi enjoys a balanced and active lifestyle. She spends her leisure time hiking with her dog, skiing, traveling, and floating the river.
